Freundlichkeit ist wichtig, aber genauso wichtig w\u00e4re jene Bestimmtheit gewesen, mit der man Putin daran erinnern h\u00e4tte sollen, dass es f\u00fcr ihn nun an der Zeit ist, auf den Boden der geltenden Vertr\u00e4ge und Vereinbarungen zur\u00fcckzukehren. Ein Kommentar von <a href=\"http:\/\/www.karlvonhabsburg.at\">Karl von Habsburg<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Vladimir Putin wird den 5. Juni 2018 in freundlicher Erinnerung behalten. Mit h\u00f6chsten Ehren wurde der russische Pr\u00e4sident bei seinem Besuch in \u00d6sterreich empfangen. Die Gespr\u00e4che mit dem Bundespr\u00e4sidenten, Kanzler und Vizekanzler, der Au\u00dfenministerin, Vertretern der Wirtschaftskammer und der Industrie verliefen freundlich. Kritische Fragen wurden nicht gestellt, heikle Themen \u2013 wenn \u00fcberhaupt \u2013 nur gestreift. Man hielt fest, dass Friede in Europa ohne Russland nicht m\u00f6glich sei \u2013 ja, das ist genau das Problem \u2013, Russland ein wichtiger Handelspartner sei, und Kanzler Kurz erfreute den Gast aus Moskau mit der Bemerkung, Russland sei eine Supermacht. Da werden sich auch die vielen Putinisten im Land gefreut haben.<\/p>\n<p>Nun sind 50 Jahre Gashandelsvertr\u00e4ge zwischen \u00d6sterreich und Russland durchaus ein wichtiges Thema, um die Beziehungen der beiden L\u00e4nder zueinander zu reflektieren. Immerhin, gegen\u00fcber \u00d6sterreich hat Russland die Vertr\u00e4ge immer eingehalten. Ein Privileg, das nicht f\u00fcr alle Handelspartner Moskaus gilt. Die Zusammenarbeit zwischen OMV und Gazprom funktioniert. Sogar so gut, dass der ehemalige Finanzminister (und damit Eigent\u00fcmervertreter der OMV) nach seinem Abgang aus der Politik direkt als Lobbyist bei Gazprom anheuert. Auch neue Gasliefervertr\u00e4ge konnten unterschrieben werden (nur soviel zum Ende des fossilen Zeitalters und dem Ende der Abh\u00e4ngigkeit).<\/p>\n<p>Bei einer n\u00fcchternen Betrachtung wird man feststellen, dass \u00d6sterreich pro Jahr G\u00fcter \u2013 und da spielen die \u201eSanktionen\u201c wirklich keine Rolle \u2013 im Wert von 2,2 Milliarden Euro nach Russland exportiert. Die L\u00e4nder Mitteleuropas sind da bedeutendere Handelspartner, selbst das kleine Slowenien liegt in der Rangliste noch vor Russland.<\/p>\n<p>Nat\u00fcrlich ist nicht damit zu rechnen, dass \u00d6sterreich der Hebel zur Aufhebung der Ma\u00dfnahmen gegen bestimmte Teile der russischen Wirtschaft und des Systems Putin ist. Daf\u00fcr gibt es keinen Grund, so lange Moskau die milit\u00e4rische Aggression gegen das Nachbarland Ukraine \u2013 unter Bruch aller Vertr\u00e4ge und Versprechungen \u2013 nicht einstellt.<\/p>\n<p>Wir leben aber nicht mehr in der alten Ost-West-Konfrontation, wo Wien als neutraler Br\u00fcckenkopf zwischen den Bl\u00f6cken galt. \u00d6sterreich ist Teil der EU, wird deren Rat vorsitzen, und h\u00e4tte deshalb gut daran getan, Putin daran zu erinnern, dass es nach den vielen St\u00f6rungen der Beziehungen durch Moskau an der Zeit ist, auf den Boden der geltenden Vertr\u00e4ge und Vereinbarungen zur\u00fcckzukehren.
