Sie hat aber unter ausl\u00e4ndischer Besatzung und totalit\u00e4rem Regime gelitten. Mit dem Ende des Kommunismus hat sich Albanien Europa wieder zuwenden k\u00f6nnen, vor allem durch den EU-Integrationsprozess. So hat man das von Otto von Habsburg so sch\u00f6n formulierte \u201eAnrecht der Balkanv\u00f6lker an Europa\u201c wahrnehmen d\u00fcrfen.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"margin: 0cm; font-variant-caps: normal; font-stretch: normal; orphans: auto; text-align: start; widows: auto; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; word-spacing: 0px;\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;\">Das vereinigte Europa als ein Raum des Rechts wodurch die Freiheiten und die Rechte des Menschen, die Demokratie und die soziale Marktwirtschaft garantiert werden ist h\u00f6chst erstrebenswert nicht nur f\u00fcr Albanien und die anderen Staaten im Westlichen Balkan. Wenn vor Jahrzehnten die Sicherung des inneren Friedens eine europ\u00e4ische Herausforderung war ist heute der Schutz des \u201eeuropean way of life\u201c mit Blick auf das Weltgeschehen, mehr als notwendig.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"margin: 0cm; font-variant-caps: normal; font-stretch: normal; orphans: auto; text-align: start; widows: auto; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; word-spacing: 0px;\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;\">In Albanien aber, bleiben vor allem die Sicherstellung und Konsolidierung der Rechtsstaatlichkeit auf der Tagesordnung. Oder die Erf\u00fcllung der Kopenhagen Kriterien wie es im EU-Jargon so sch\u00f6n hei\u00dft. Das ist eine Herkulesaufgabe der albanischen Gesellschaft und vor allem der Politiker. Ich hoffe aber sehr in dieser neuen Phase der EU-Ann\u00e4herung die Transformationskraft der EU wirksamer und eindeutiger zu sp\u00fcren.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"margin: 0cm; font-variant-caps: normal; font-stretch: normal; orphans: auto; text-align: start; widows: auto; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; word-spacing: 0px;\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Trebuchet MS', sans-serif;\">Es wird kein kurzer und einfacher Weg sein.
