North Macedonia, in particular, has earned this, having made peace with Greece. In 2018, France and the Netherlands still blocked the start of talks.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn 18th June, the heads of state and government must approve this to clearly signal to the people of Southeast Europe that they are part of the European family,\u201d said Secretary General Rainhard Kloucek.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat Europe cannot afford is a reform-oriented, yet frustrated by blockades, pro-European population in the Balkans,\u201d warns International Officer Stefan Hab\u00f6ck, particularly regarding frustration among the young population in the Balkans.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Note: The Paneuropean Movement Austria is the Austrian organisation of the non-partisan Paneuropean Union.
