Paneuropa \u00d6sterreich freut sich \u00fcber diesen Erfolg!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201eDie Abschaffung der Visapflicht f\u00fcr die Ukraine war ein l\u00e4ngst \u00fcberf\u00e4lliger Schritt\u201c, kommentiert Karl von Habsburg, Pr\u00e4sident der Paneuropabewegung \u00d6sterreich, diesen historischen Moment. Mit dem heutigen Tag f\u00e4llt die Visapflicht f\u00fcr ukrainische B\u00fcrger in der EU.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>F\u00fcr Paneuropa, die \u00e4lteste europ\u00e4ische Einigungsbewegung, ist die Reisefreiheit und damit verbundene Abschaffung der Visapflicht f\u00fcr europ\u00e4ische B\u00fcrger einer der wichtigsten Grunds\u00e4tze. Visa f\u00fcr europ\u00e4ische B\u00fcrger innerhalb Europas z\u00e4hlen zu den letzten \u00dcberbleibseln der Mauerpolitik des Kalten Krieges.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eVor allem die jungen Menschen in der Ukraine sind der Motor f\u00fcr umfassende Reformen im Land. Ihnen die M\u00f6glichkeit zu geben, Europa zu bereisen und kennen zu lernen ist ein wichtiges Signal\u201c, freut sich Philipp Jauernik, Bundesvorsitzender der Paneuropa Jugend \u00d6sterreich.<\/p>\n<p>Paneuropa betont seit Jahren die europ\u00e4ische Perspektive der Ukraine und hat auf die Notwendigkeit von Reformen wie Beseitigung der Korruption und die Herstellung von Rechtsstaatlichkeit hingewiesen. Die erzielten Fortschritte gaben nun den Ausschlag daf\u00fcr, dass die EU-Mitgliedsstaaten eine Aufhebung der Reisebeschr\u00e4nkung beschlossen.<\/p>\n<p>Schon 2006 hat die Paneuropa Union auf ihrer Generalversammlung in Stra\u00dfburg eindeutig Position zu Reisebeschr\u00e4nkungen bezogen: \u201eDie Paneuropa Union bekennt sich zum Grundsatz der Reisefreiheit f\u00fcr Europ\u00e4er innerhalb Europas. Wir fordern deshalb die Abschaffung s\u00e4mtlicher b\u00fcrokratischer und anderer Reisehemmnisse \u2013 insbesondere Visa \u2013 f\u00fcr die B\u00fcrger aller europ\u00e4ischen Staaten innerhalb Europas.\u201c, hie\u00df es damals \u2013 und das gilt noch heute.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mit heutigem Tag, 11.
