Dear friends,
Many thanks for the numerous recovery wishes that have reached me via this homepage, social media, etc. Let me state for the record that there is no cause for concern. As you can see from the many interviews I have already given today, I am on the road to recovery. Quarantine is certainly no fun, but it is important to me that we deal with the Corona problem openly in order to protect family, friends, and acquaintances.
At the same time, we must keep a cool head. This means not underestimating the danger and doing everything possible to keep the risk of infection for ourselves and others as low as possible. But there is truly no reason for panic!
Incidentally, the relevant authorities have also demonstrated exactly this cool head in everything I have experienced. I can only congratulate the Austrian authorities on their serious yet calm and professional handling of the virus.
